Thousands of attendees for the 2023 RE/MAX R4 conference gathered in Las Vegas on February 27, hours before the formal Welcome Reception. RE/MAX images are displayed throughout the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino to commemorate the company's 50th anniversary and current real estate success.
In order to participate in Sunday's Broker/Owner masterminds and pre-convention courses on technology, commercial real estate, business strategies, and other topics, a large number of attendees came early. The program included a Train-the-Trainer workshop with guidance on MAX/TechSM powered by kvCORE, the cutting-edge technological innovation that debuted in Canada and the United States in late 2017 and January, respectively.
The Special Award Winner Luncheon was also held on Sunday, a prestigious event recognizing the network's best talents. The 2023 event saw a return to the live, in-person style that has always been a boisterous R4 favorite after a format shift following COVID-19.
Although Sunday served as a fantastic glimpse, the real action began on Monday when thousands of participants gathered at the venue to start their 2023 R4 adventure. Agents and Broker/Owners were eager to meet each other and exchange ideas, tactics, and recommendations as the hallways, ballrooms, and meeting spaces came to life.
Attendees found everything from signs and closing presents to counseling and professional education in the MarketPlace, a dealer area where dozens of verified RE/MAX Approved Suppliers provided the newest real estate goods and services. Everything was created with one goal in mind: to make RE/MAX associates successful in any market.
The event's attendees observed RE/MAX President and CEO Nick Bailey in action as he performed in-person conversations with RE/MAX luxury superstar Jordan Cohen and well-known business mentor Jared James. At Tuesday's Opening General Session, Bailey will share the limelight with Bear Grylls, a famous explorer, and Dave Liniger, Chairman and Co-Founder of RE/MAX Holdings.
On Monday, there were workshops on a variety of topics, including technology, marketing, social media, time management, prospecting, and market knowledge. This year, there was a new twist: there were also unofficial, half-hour "meet-ups" of different organizations and specialties throughout the day. The lesson learned is that R4 always enhances the experience and introduces new features.
In a few days, more than 9,000 guests will be able to verify that for themselves.
